Billy Horschel Wins the Zurich Classic- Nothing Could Stop Billy Ho’s “Mo” This Week

What did you do following the last time you shot 85?  Ok, that might be a career best for some of you and I’m certainly not knocking you if it is, but let’s look at it like this- PGA Tour players aren’t supposed to shoot 85’s.  When they do it’s usually either stemming from an injury, some gale-forced British Open wind craziness or yet another annoying John Daly implosion (grow up already John).  In the case of Billy Horschel, the number became a surefire force of motivation.

Louis Oosthuizen Hits A 500-Yard Drive At the Ballantine’s Championship…And Pars the Hole

It Was Birdies and Alligators Galore During the First Round of The Zurich Classic

During Thursday’s opening round of the Zurich Classic at TPC Louisiana in New Orelans, players were blitzing the course with red numbers as a ghastly 106 out of 156 players in the field finished at par or better (Ricky Barnes leads at -8, aka Barky Raines).  So, as part of the course’s last attempt at some opening round defense, Pete Dye and company sent alligators out on a chase to defend their turf.
