RBC Heritage at Harbour Town Preview, Picks + Predictions Plus the Driver-Off-The-Deck BOLD Play of the Week

In a 2011 Golf Digest poll, PGA Tour players ranked Harbour Town ranked as their 2nd favorite venue on the annual Tour rota.  Considering the company of other renowned courses on Tour, that’s quite the honor.  Only ranked behind Augusta National, this means that Harbour Town ranked ahead of Muirfield Village, Colonial, Torrey Pines, Bay Hill, Riviera, Pebble Beach and all of the others the Tour visits each year.

Adam Scott (The Actor- NBC’s Parks and Recreation) Goes On Conan to Tell the World To Stop With the Jokes

When Jose Maria Olazabal won the Masters back in both ’94 and ’99, I’m going to go out on a limb and say that there probably weren’t too many mix-ups as to which Jose Maria Olazabal had won.  But, when Adam Scott won the Masters on Sunday, there definitely were a few other Adam Scotts across the country who got some sarcastic congratulatory remarks, as of course, the name is a bit plain.

Jim Furyk Carries Two Drivers On Thursday at Valero Texas Open In Prep For Masters

We’ve all heard of players adding extra wedges in preparation for a tournament, as well as tinkering with the lofts and settings of their drivers and fairway woods, but adding two drivers to the bag?  Well, with the exception of Phil Mickelson (who did the same thing in winning his second green jacket in ‘06), this takes tinkering to another level, and that’s exactly what Jim Furyk is experimenting with this week at the Valero Texas Open in preparation for next week’s Masters.
