It Was Birdies and Alligators Galore During the First Round of The Zurich Classic

During Thursday’s opening round of the Zurich Classic at TPC Louisiana in New Orelans, players were blitzing the course with red numbers as a ghastly 106 out of 156 players in the field finished at par or better (Ricky Barnes leads at -8, aka Barky Raines).  So, as part of the course’s last attempt at some opening round defense, Pete Dye and company sent alligators out on a chase to defend their turf.

Just kidding of course, but there sure were some feisty reptiles out there on Thursday, made all the better by commentator Nick Faldo’s British accent and witty commentary.  Check out the below video.
